Towards Software-Defined Delay Tolerant Networks

چکیده

This paper proposes a Software-Defined Delay Tolerant Networking (SDDTN) architecture as solution to managing large (DTN) networks in scalable manner. work is motivated by the planned deployments of DTN on Moon and beyond deep space. Current space communication involves relatively few nodes heavily deterministic scheduled, which will not be true future. It unclear how these networks, consisting inherently intermittent links, able adapt dynamically changing network conditions. In addition proposed SDDTN architecture, this explores data plane programming Programming Protocol-Independent Packet Processors (P4) language possible method implementing enumerates challenges approach, presents intermediate results.
